Zooming in

Here are some pictures from my past when cares were few and everything was now. Call it a pictorial memoir if you like.

Earliest days in the garden with my Black Labrador cross. 1970.

Five years later in the summer of ’75 sitting on a friends wall in Oakwood with Mark.

Spontaneous Elvis impression on a Piccadilly tube train in 1977. Probably on the way to see a gig at the Marquee Club then based in Wardour Street, Soho, London.

In the ship’s cabin on the way from Harwich to Hamburg with a mate of that time in April 1978.

View of Stuart and Dave heading the ball from a hot beach in Majorca.

IMG_2049

Visible proof of their silly antics while out walking along a road in Majorca in early August 1978.

IMG_2055

Geoff in the foreground. No idea who the family is behind him. A group of us visited Newquay in Cornwall in August 1980.

IMG_2040

With Prad on the roof of what was then the ‘West End’ Oxford Street Branch of ECGD near Soho, London, 1980. Picture, taken at lunchtime, shows our reflection against the light of an office window.

Rob, Edge, Mark wait for a fourth and the prospect of visiting a Hertfordshire hostelry in the summer of 1980.

And finally some lads from Chingford join John and Terry for a photo opportunity before the Status Quo concert at Milton Keynes bowl in July 1984.
