A sleeping giant
I find it incredible that the following story does not topple those in power since it is obvious that the British taxpayer is being defrauded by their government. Although the fact that this news story emerges after ‘research by the House of Commons Library’ these details inform the reader that Britain has lost its intellectual way in the world for some while now.
By whose authority is it decided that the British defence budget should be slashed in order to fund the defence budget of; India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Tanzania and many more?
Politicians today are very generous with other people’s money. They defrauded the taxpayer five or six years ago in the expenses scandal where it was discovered that about a third of all MPs were implicated.
In November of 2014 it was reported in The Telegraph newspaper that evidence pertaining to remaining prosecutions of MPs in The House of Commons has been destroyed.
Now we find that British taxpayers’ money is being used to finance foreign governments who spend billions on their own military and defence budgets. I must conclude that the British government is either hopelessly corrupt or is run by the biggest bunch of naive idiots on the planet.
Here are some facts taken from a recent Daily Telegraph article on foreign aid:
